Let us introduce ourselves-
We are four family members - Maureen, Sue, Gill and Rachel. We all share a passion for designing and making jewellery. We meet regularly, to share ideas and plan our next project, between busy jobs, family life, children, grandchildren, dogs and even chickens!
We launched our website in April 2008 and our business is now steadily building. We are pleased to say that our first website customer told us that she was so delighted with the two lariats she purchased, one of which was a 'design your own' that she said she would definitely use our website again and recommend us to her friends and family.
About our jewellery -
Our lovely jewellery, at Lorelei Gems, is all handmade with care and thought. Because we love our beads and gemstones we take great creative pleasure in designing each piece. And like an original work of art, every piece is unique. Each item is made up especially for you in the colours you choose. However, due to the variety of tints in the beads and gemstones we use, we cannot guarantee matching exactly to the shades of the stones you may have seen on our website. Different monitors and/or browsers can also affect the shades of the colours you will see.
If you cannot spot exactly what you want on our website, yet like our style, please feel free to contact us via e-mail and we will, as far as possible, produce a piece which you will enjoy. We are adaptable!
We work with a range of beads including gem stones, millefiori, crystals, sterling silver and many others. We also use glass beads in a range of colours and shades and choose these to complement or contrast with our gem stones.
Any metal in our earrings , bracelets and necklaces is stirling silver unless otherwise stated. Our lariats are threaded on waxed linen and beadalon is used to thread our necklaces. We are regularly adding new products which may contain alternative thread, beads and findings. We promise to always state the materials used alongside the product.
